Lagarde

The Lagarde wines is our collection of our one hundred percent varietals wines. This range includes the following wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Syrah, Viognier, Chardonnay and a rosé wine made from Malbec and Pinot Noir. In 2020, we incorporated a Red Blend to the range for the first time. Raised for 8 to 12 months in oak, these red wines reach a delicate balance between fruit and a sophisticated palate.

Mayor Drummond, Luján de Cuyo – Mendoza. Planted in 1906.

Vineyard Structure/Yield

High vine training. Drip irrigation. Cordon pruning with spurs. Average yield: 90-100 q/ha.

Tasting notes

COLOR: crisp pink with ruby hues.

AROMA: bouquet of fresh ripe fruits, such as peach and strawberry.

FLAVOR: refreshing and vivacious with a long and persistent finish.

Pairing Suggestion

A good appetizer to start lunches or to pair with entrées made with green leaves or seafood. Its freshness and persistent finish, also make it a good companion to Spanish tapas, ceviche or seafood casseroles. Ideal for well-seasoned dishes, typical of the Oriental cuisine.
